Deck of Cards

Mascot Games has developed a deck of cards that is unique to the micronation.  Once they have passed through design review they will be manufactured for public sale.  The deck features 5 suits of 12 cards each, plus two extras.

The five suits are red circle, blue cross, yellow triangle, black square, and white star.  The cards are numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 30, and 60 in keeping with Dagostinia's 12 and 60 theme.  The '60' cards feature a large X in the color of the suit rather than sport 60 individual symbols.  The X gives it the opportunity to be treated visually as a special card.  There are no 'face' cards.

The two extra cards are similar to the jokers in a typical set of cards.  One joker is black and is named the Mascot.  The other joker is white and is named the Monarch.  The Mascot and Monarch may be used or omitted depending on the game at play.

Card Games:

Color Wheel is one new game created with this deck.  Players start with 5 cards and must set down two cards of different colors that would blend to create a secondary color.  For example a red circle and blue cross would make purple.  Or a yellow triangle and a red circle would make orange.  An exciting variant of the game states that the number values of the cards must multiply to equal 60.  Therefore the red 5 can only match with the blue 12 or yellow 12.  The black and white cards are considered to be junk cards and should be removed or ignored.  If you cannot make a match, draw a card and your turn ends.  Only one pair may be made per turn.

Double-double is a game that takes the four intertwining doubling sets into account.  The sets are 1, 2, 4;  3, 6, 12;  5, 10, 20;  15, 30, 60.  Similar to gin rummy, the sets may be placed with or without regard to color.  Deal seven cards per player.  Each turn draws a card.  Player must discard one card to end a turn.  The hand ends when one player is out of cards or the deck is exhausted.  Scoring is kept as such: set values are equal to the highest number in the set; 4, 12, 20, or 60.  If any set is made of all the same suit, the value doubles.  First player to reach 1200 wins.

Any solitaire game that does not require black and red alternate stacking can be played with the cards.  Or the black-red stacking can be ignored.
